Instructions

CO 60 sts and join into rnd being careful not to twist

Placing markers is optional for Rnd 1. They just indicate when the stitch pattern changes.

Rnd 1: K1, (p1,k1) 7 times, pm, p15, pm, k1, (p1,k1) 7 times, pm, p15
Rnd 2: K15, p1, (k1,p1) 7 times, k15, p1, (k1,p1) 7 times

Repeat Rnd 1 (excluding the pm’s) and Rnd 2 until piece measures almost 6.75” or until you have just enough of the skein remaining to BO all sts.

Editor’s Note: To approximate the amount of yarn needed for binding off, save a length of yarn that’s 4 times the circumference of the cowl. Just wind the yarn loosely around the cowl 4 times.

BO all sts in K1,P1 ribbing loosely for a stretchy bind off.

Finishing

Weave in all ends. Block if desired and lay flat to dry.
