  • 6 mm knitting needles. I’m using this basic set of double pointed needles I love in the step by step pictures but you don’t need them. You can use straight needles or circular needles if you prefer.
  • Lion Brand 24/7 cotton yarn. You need 2 100g skeins ( 340 m / 372 yards) in charcoal color.
  • Tapestry needle to weave in the ends. I love this set as it has different eye sizes for different yarn thickness and it comes in a small tube which is very convenient so I don’t lose them.
  • T pins for blocking.

  • k =knit
  • st = stitch
  • k2tog = knit 2 stitches together
  • yo = yarn over = bring your yarn forward

Repeat the stitches between * * the indicated number of times or until the end of the row.

Repeat rows between ** ** the indicated number of times.

This summer scarf is 20 cm wide and 190 cm long. You can easily adapt the width by adding / removing a multiple of 2 stitches.
