Knit a Basic Beanie

Hi everyone. It's beanie hat time as the weather gets cooler, cooler and then cold. You have to keep your ears warm even as you cover your head for protection against the elements. You can make this for yourself and for others who will appreciate this as a gift of love. Knit this easily, quickly and effectively with the help of the free knitting pattern I have shared below so that you can all DIY.

Materials needed:

  • Yarn
  • Needles: 3.5 mm (US 4) 40 cm (16-inch) long circular needles; 4mm (US 6) 40 cm (16-inch) long circular needles.
    You may want to use a set of 4mm (US 6) double pointed needles for the decreases.
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors
  • Stitch markers (optional)
  • Pom pom maker (optional)
