Gauge: 18 sts per 4”/10 cm

Needles: US 7 - 4.5 mm & Size G or 7 Crochet Hook (for loop)

P = purl

PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS

Cast on 35 stitches

Row 1 (RS): K1, *p1, k3; rep from * to last 2 stitches, p1, k1.

Row 2: K1, P1, *k1, p5, k1, p1; repeat from * to last stitch, k1.

Row 3: K1, *k2, p1, k3, p1, k1; repeat from * to last 2 stitches, k2.

Row 4: K1, p1, *p2, k1, p1, k1, p3; repeat from * to last stitch, k1.

Repeat 1-4 chevron pattern 10 times, until piece measures 6” from cast-on edge.

FINISHING

Bind off. Transfer the last live stitch to a crochet hook, chain 20, with crochet hook use single crochet to attach the loop to the flat knit piece.

Cut yarn tail of 30” for seaming and pull through remaining live stitch to bind off.

Fold piece in half, seam side and bottom edges.
