Abbreviations:

c/o=cast on

K=Knit

P=Purl

St=stitch

Sts=stitches

Rep=repeat

Gauge:

16.5 sts =4” in st pattern

*Exact Gauge is not critical in this pattern*

Size:

Finished Size Measures Approximately 8” x 10”

Pattern Instructions:

Cast On 45 sts

Rows 1-5: Knit each st across (Border)

Row 6: K4, *K1, P1, rep from* to last 5 sts, K5

Row 7: K4, *P1, K1, rep from * to last 5 sts, P1, K4

Row 8: Repeat Row 7 (K4, *P1, K1, rep from * to last 5 sts, P1, K4)

Row 9: Repeat Row 16(K4, *K1, P1, rep from* to last 5 sts, K5)

Repeat Rows 6 -9 until dishcloth measures approximately 7 ½ inches, ending with Row 9.

Knit Rows 1-5 again: Knit each st across (Border)

Bind off all stitches.

Fasten off and weave in all ends.
