Simple Knit Scrunchie

Hello friends. I'm happy to bring to us the absolutely free knitting pattern for these scrunchies that I love so much for being such a useful and classic hair accessory. The fabric around the elastic protects the hair from damage and even if you pull your hair through it several times, it will still be looser than a regular elastic. So, ripping hairs out or getting them tangled around the scrunchie is minimized. 

Materials needed:

  • US #6 (4.0mm) 16” circular knitting needles
  • Premier Chameleon Color Changing Yarn or light weight or DK yarn of choice
  • Hair tie 
  • Yarn needle
