So let's make a cowl! Using your color A yarn, then, cast on 110 stitches, place marker, and join in round. And then we'll continue like so:

Row 1: using color A, knit

Row 2: using color A, purl

Rows 3 & 4: using color B, knit

Rows 5 & 6: using color C, knit

Row 7: using color A, knit

Row 8: using color A, purl

Rows 9 & 10: using color C, knit

Rows 11 & 12: using color B, knit
Knit rows 1 - 12 until piece measures 9" - 12" (depending on how long you want it!) and you've just finished row 2 of the pattern. Using your color A yarn, bind off loosely, tuck in ends, and block.
