Make a Star Dishcloth or Afghan Square

OK, so this is like a two in one. How cool is that? Today we are learning how to make a star dishcloth or afghan square. Yeah, you can definitely stop at one square and call it a dish cloth or you can even make multiple afghan squares and call it a whole blanket. So, what do you say? What is it going to be? Well, anything you decide, I’m sure it’s going to be splendid!

Materials needed:

  • With DK/Light Worsted Weight yarn and 4 mm (US 6, UK 8) knitting needles, finished squares are approximately 22 cm x 22 cm (8.5 inches x 8.5 inches)
  • With Worsted Weight yarn and and 4.5 mm knitting needles (US size 7, UK size 7) finished square is approximately 26 cm x 26 cm (10 inches x 10 inches)
