Cotton Summer Shorts

Let’s add some shorts to our collection of summer outfits. Today we are going to make some cotton summer shorts that are great for those trips to the beach. This is indeed a summer staple as it is perfect for the warm seasons. I’m not sure we have ever made shorts on this site but today we are going to make some. Materials needed:

  • Yarn
  • Size US 4 (3.5mm) circular knitting needle
  • Size US 4 or smaller circular knitting needle (for cast off)
  • 3/4” elastic for waistband
  • Cotton Cord for drawstring
  • Tapestry needle
