Knit a Pinafore Dress

Oh my!! I love pinafores so much that I can have a wardrobe full of them. Now, here's a chance for us to make this very stylish pinafore dress for our girls. You just gotta take this free knit pattern and work out the superbly designed piece that makes our kid’s casual outing a dreamy experience. Open the pattern and follow the guide that makes your DIY time a super easy and fun filled one. Your girls will never forget this gift, I say!

Materials needed:

  • Yarn
  • US 7 [4.5 mm] 16″ [40 cm] circular needle
  • US 6 [4 mm] 16″ [40 cm] circular needle for ribbing and for the straps (or two size smaller than needed to obtain correct gauge)
  • 2 stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle
  • 2 approx. 1” [20 mm] diameter buttons (exact size depends on the size of the buttonhole)
