Make a Sunflower

I love sunflowers. When I found this tutorial on how to make this knitted sunflower, I just had to share it with you all. This sunflower will be perfect in your home as it will bring so much color and life to it. Get your knitting needles out, so we can begin the process of making this amazing gift of nature. Materials needed:

  • A pair of 3.75mm straight knitting needles (US 5)
  • A pair of 3.5mm DPNs to work the i-cord stalk (US 4)
  • Yarn
  • A small amount of toy filling (or cotton wool balls) to stuff the centre
  • A darning or tapestry needle to sew the knitted pieces together
  • A bamboo skewer 25cm long
